Our innovative martial arts program is fun for the whole family!
Normally, when you enroll your child in an activity like soccer or basketball, your children participate while you are stuck on the sidelines as a spectator or maybe – if you’re lucky — as a coach.
On top of that, your child might not even get to play as some of the team members get to “ride the bench.”
In our Columbia Innovative Karate Program for Families, everyone participates: children, parents, and even grandparents can attend classes and progress at their own pace.
In our action-packed family classes, no one sits on the bench!
Children practice with other children, and adults practice with other adults. Martial arts classes are one of the only family programs where children and their parents get the same kind of healthy exercise at the same time.

One of the best parts of our program is that every student is treated as an individual, and will progress at their ow rate.
Each student’s progress isn’t measured against other students, but rather against their own previous performance!
So even students that aren’t as physically fit as the star quaterback on the football team, can have a wonderful experience in our program, and become stronger, fitter and more flexible.
Really, the only way to know if our program is a good fit for you and/or your family is to try it for yourself!

The great thing about our program is, everyone is treated as an individual.
We have students as young as 3 or 4 and as old as 94.

We know how busy your life is, so our program is designed for the ‘busy’ person! Students can make exciting progress by attending classes an average of twice a week.
Some students will want to attend more classes, and that’s great, we have options for that!
We have a lot of different training options for families depending on your objectives.
Since every student is an individual, we teach to the individual’s level, experience, and abilities. You’ll want to discuss your objectives with the instructor when you take advantage of one of our WEB SPECIALS and come in for your first lesson!
Besides this, we also have separate classes for adult and the finest children’s classes in the area.
First, you will began to see and feel a greater amount of respect for each other.
Second, you will look forward to coming to class and training together.

The program is very high in quality. Master Rifkin delivers what he promises. He is very professional, fully committed and a good role model for the kids. Expectations are high and your kid will learn to work towards reaching a goal, be resilient and persistent. My son has been here for more than 2 years and loves it. I have been in the studio for pretty much every class (prior to COVID-19) and have seen the training and instructions, simply amazing. Once you are there, you’ll know the difference.

Master Rifkin quickly put all classes online for easy to access, while the studio formulated a plan for return. I am so impressed with what they are doing. Online or in person classes so we each have options or backup plans. Temp checks, masks and hand sanitizer are used and a limited number of people are allowing in the building at a time. I feel that he is looking out to keep everyone safe and engaged at the same time.

These lessons help him stay in shape, in practice and mentally connected to the discipline. They are helping him stay on track, and motivate him to practice every day.
